The Area Rug is a beautiful
Berber vintage Rug that is a Moroccan 100% handmade one by a relatively large
group of tribes inhabiting the mountains south and east of the city of Fez.
These types of traditional
rugs are best known for their thick pile carpets that are made of un-dyed
natural wool with soft off-white fields and with the black color ( sometimes
brown ) of its geometric designs.
These same tribes are also
renowned for their exquisite women capes and shawls
We bought this item from a
Moroccan Berber auction and listed it right away. It really was a fantastic
experience trip.
