In the mountains of the Moroccan Atlas, the winter is harsh and cold and it is there that we observe the lowest temperatures of North Africa. To warm up and protect themselves in this hostile environment, families of Beni Ouarain tribes living in traditional tents, had no alternative but to produce thick carpets of very high quality wool.
