A beautiful cedar wood creation

We offer you some amazing crafted artifacts built in cedar wood with characteristic scent and often worked with lemon. This type of art appeared at the beginning of the XIXth century in Morocco, and the sultans appealed to the artisans for the manufacture of decorative objects, furniture or musical instruments...

It does consist in sticking a mosaic of precious wood on a carpentry background, where are encrusted debris of shells like mother-of-pearl, or filaments of silver metal. It is also decorated with floral ornaments or geometric figures. In the Marrakech medina, the artisanal creation with cedar wood is available in many forms: boxes, jewelry boxes, games, tables, pots…

The Moroccan salons

The conviviality of the Moroccan salons has long since acquired its letters of nobility beyond the borders of Morocco. Each one, during a passage in Marrakech, could appreciate the charm of these salons and the finesse of their decoration. The Moroccan living room furniture is often composed in Morocco of several benches of 2 or 3 places arranged in U. The fabrics set the tone in terms of colors and decoration. They can be found in cushions and bench covers, curtains or draperies.

They are accompanied by Moroccan carpets to obtain a perfect Moroccan decoration. We offer different styles of Moroccan cushion covers, traditional or modern.

Do not hesitate to contact us for any specific request of Moroccan fabrics, we make custom pieces for cushion covers (fabric, shape, dimensions) or bench and curtains!
